Heavy Glass

This is the 14-ton, 200 inch wide, two-foot thick original glass for the telescope at Mt. Palomar. This one cracked because it cooled too fast (months).

    Thanks for the photo - really stumped yesterday! Figured it had to be some sort of glass, but no idea what.
